AMAPLAST, formerly known as Assocomaplast until 2017, is the Italian Plastics and Rubber Processing Machinery and Moulds Manufacturers' Association. Established in 1960, AMAPLAST represents over 170 major Italian companies in the plastics and rubber machinery sector. The association promotes the global knowledge of Italian technologies which are among the top in the world market in terms of production and export. AMAPLAST also publishes the bimonthly technical magazine MACPLAS and organizes the triennial international exhibition PLAST in Milan. Additionally, through CESAP, AMAPLAST conducts technical training and supports research and new applications in processing technologies and materials.
