BiscoMisr, established in 1957 during Egypt's nationalization program as the Egyptian Company for Foods, is the largest biscuits company in Egypt and one of the top five biscuit companies in the Middle East and Africa. Initially, it served as the main provider of baked goods and confectionery for the army, national schools, and the local market. In 2005, BiscoMisr transitioned from the public to the private sector, leading to significant growth and a makeover of its brand. In January 2015, BiscoMisr became a subsidiary of the Kellogg Company, further expanding its market presence.
