The Blueberry Industry Development Fund Council was established under the Farming and Fishing Industries Development Act to promote the viability and strategic growth of the blueberry industry in British Columbia. The council works closely with blueberry growers, packers, and processors to enhance market opportunities through industry education, research, promotion, and relationship building. The council also supports food safety, on-farm assistance, and expands the BC blueberry market domestically and internationally.
