Established on May 29, 2012, the China Overseas Fisheries Association (COFA) is a national, non-profit organization based in Beijing. It comprises enterprises, institutions, social groups, economic cooperatives, and fisheries professionals engaged in distant-water fisheries and related industries. COFA aims to promote the sustainable and healthy development of China's overseas fisheries and to enhance international exchange and cooperation in this sector.
