The Durian Manufacturer Association (DMA), established in February 2023, is a Malaysian organization comprising 11 members, including durian farmers and product manufacturers, collectively commanding over 75% of the local market share. DMA is dedicated to promoting the global recognition of Malaysian durians, advocating for fair trade practices, and empowering growers with knowledge and sustainable practices. The association has been instrumental in initiatives such as the Kuala Lumpur-Zhengzhou Durian Exclusive Chartered Air Cargo Route, aiming to enhance durian export efficiency and strengthen economic ties between Malaysia and China.
