The EU-China GI Pavilion is a dedicated platform at the China International Consumer Products Expo, showcasing geographically indicated (GI) products from the EU and China under the EU-China Geographical Indications Agreement. This agreement, effective since 2021, protects 100 GIs from each region and ensures authenticity and mutual trade benefits. The Pavilion promotes high-quality European goods like Parma ham, Champagne, and Feta, as well as renowned Chinese products such as Anji White Tea and Panjin rice, fostering consumer trust and supporting economic cooperation. The GI Pavilion also facilitates brand awareness and B2B connections, particularly for European products entering the Chinese market.
