Founded in 1953 by Andy Goedert in Willmar, Minnesota, Gurley's Foods initially started as a bakery producing cookies for the Archway Cookie Company. In 1964, the company diversified by acquiring a nut roasting company in St. Paul and began producing roasted nuts and cookies. Today, Gurley's Foods offers a variety of products, including roasted nuts, trail mixes, and candies under brands like Gurley's, Golden Recipe, Farmer's Market, and Mountain Country. Recently, the company returned to local ownership under Tom Taunton, ensuring continued commitment to quality and community.
