Koperasi Nira Kamukten, established in 2013, is a cooperative dedicated to empowering coconut sugar farmers in Banjarnegara, Central Java. The cooperative focuses on producing organic 'gula semut' (palm sugar) and improving the welfare of its 347 member farmers through fair trade practices and sustainable farming. By partnering with local and international organizations, including Fair Trade Association (FTA), the cooperative exports its products to several countries. The cooperative has received numerous awards and recognition for its contribution to the local economy and commitment to high-quality production standards.
