Koperasi Pedagang Kopi (Kopepi) Ketiara is a women-led cooperative based in the Gayo Highlands of Aceh, Sumatra. Founded in 2008, it has become a prominent producer and exporter of Fairtrade and organic certified Gayo Arabica coffee beans. The cooperative consists of over 1, 150 farmer members, 70% of whom are women. Kopepi Ketiara focuses on sustainable farming practices, producing high-quality coffee while empowering women and young farmers. The cooperative exports its specialty-grade coffee beans to Europe, the US, and Asia, and has built strong partnerships with international roasters.
