Metzer Farms, established in 1972, is a family-owned hatchery specializing in waterfowl. They offer over 35 breeds of ducks and geese, as well as French Pearl Guineas, Heritage Turkeys, and select chicken breeds. In 2022, they expanded operations with a 21, 000-square-foot hatchery in Cordova, Tennessee, enhancing their capacity to hatch approximately 120, 000 ducklings weekly. This expansion facilitates faster and safer nationwide delivery of day-old birds through collaborations with the U.S. Postal Service and FedEx.
