The Opportunities for Women in Agribusiness Project (OWAP) is a Canadian-funded initiative implemented by Alinea International in Egypt. Spanning five years, the project aims to enhance women's economic empowerment by facilitating their increased participation in the agribusiness sector, both as entrepreneurs and employees. OWAP collaborates with entities like the National Council for Women and the Chamber of Food Industries to promote gender-responsive workplace policies and support women's entrepreneurship.
