SaptKrishi Scientific Pvt. Ltd. is an agritech startup committed to solving the problem of perishability of horticultural commodities. Founded by Nikky Kumar Jha and Rashmi Jha, the company develops affordable, accessible storage and transportation solutions for individual farmers, cooperatives, and traders. Their flagship product, Sabjikothi, extends the shelf life of fruits and vegetables by up to 30 days using a microclimate storage chamber that requires minimal power and no chemicals. The company is incubated at IIT Kanpur and receives support from various governmental and non-governmental organizations.
