SelectSeal Packaging Machinery engineers and manufactures horizontal form, fill, seal packaging machines and dedicated tray sealing machines (rotary and inline) for the medical device industry. Some examples of products packaged are surgical instruments, sutures, swabs, test kits, etc. Though the name is new, it is backed by over 3 decades of technical knowledge and processing experience in this field. Our Sarasota, Florida technical and sales location houses our technical product specialist and mechanical engineering teams. Services provided include, customer sales support, process development, testing and training. Our recently expanded manufacturing facility, located in Waterloo, Ontario provides full design and manufacturing capability with extensive experience in precision machining, assembly and programming. It’s knowledgeable, skilled and experienced staff consists of mechanical and electrical engineers, designers, programmers, CNC machinists, millwrights, machine builders, tool & die makers and general machinists. Capabilities include full CNC machining, wire EDM, laser cutting, waterjet cutting, electrical build and assembly, general assembly, trouble shooting and testing. SelectSeal packaging machines are designed to focus on solutions specific to the medical device and non-food industries. Each machine provides repeatable and quantifiable processes for sterile barrier packaging. Our designs incorporate features demanded by the medical device industry; smaller footprint, seal verification, open architecture, line clearance, less scrap and servo designs which minimize air consumption and bioburden in cleanrooms. Throughout our process we provide excellent customer experience top to bottom with a personal approach. After-sales support includes thorough documentation and collaboration through the validation process. Utilizing strong relationships with key vendors allows us to incorporate brand name devices with proven track records.
