The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) is the premier professional association representing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) in the United States. Established in 1931, AANA has been a key force in advancing the nurse anesthesia profession by providing advocacy, education, professional development, and practice resources for its members.

AANA is a non-profit professional association committed to promoting and advancing the science and art of nurse anesthesiology. The organization’s primary focus areas include:
- Advocacy & Policy Development: Representing CRNAs at state and federal levels.
