Bodega Cooperativa de Cigales was founded in 1957 by a group of viticulturists from the Cigales region. The cooperative is known for its high-quality wines produced in traditional underground concrete tanks. It operates over 200 hectares of vineyards, producing an average of 1.5 million liters of wine annually. The winery specializes in rosé wines, known locally as 'Clarete, ' but also produces red and white wines.
