Inversiones Coihuin Ltda., established in 2003, specializes in the cultivation of mussels in the Chiloé Island region of Chile. In 2007, the company partnered with Colombia's Manuelita agroindustrial group to form Sociedad Mejillones América S.A., a vertically integrated operation overseeing the entire value chain of mussel production. With 250 hectares of sea concessions in the pristine waters of southern Chile, the company utilizes advanced technology and expertise to produce high-quality, natural mussels. Their processing plant, located in Huelmo near Puerto Montt, spans 5,000 square meters and adheres to global standards in processing and freezing technologies.
