La Riojana Cooperativa is one of Argentina's largest wine cooperatives, producing nearly 40 million liters of wine annually. Established in the 1940s by Italian immigrants, the cooperative now comprises over 500 small-scale grape growers in the Famatina Valley of La Rioja province. It is the largest producer of Fairtrade and organic certified wines in Argentina, with a strong commitment to sustainability and supporting its local communities through Fairtrade premium projects. The cooperative produces a wide range of wines under various brands, including Tilimuqui, La Posada, and Raza.
