Established in 2006, the Pollock Catchers Association (PCA) is the largest public union in the Russian fishery industry, comprising 32 fishing companies that collectively harvest approximately 1.5 million tons of fish and seafood annually. PCA members account for over 64% of Alaska pollock catches within Russia's Exclusive Economic Zone and more than 34% of the global Alaska pollock catch. The association is committed to sustainable fishing practices and leads the Russian Pollock Sustainability Alliance to promote and implement fishery improvements.
