Founded in 1781, Vidal-Fleury is the oldest continuously operating wine producer in the Rhône Valley, France. It was established by Joseph Vidal and became internationally renowned early on, with Thomas Jefferson visiting the estate in 1787. The company was later acquired by the Guigal family but continues to operate autonomously.
