Established in 2007, Yomra Su Ürünleri Ltd. Şti. operates in the aquaculture sector, specializing in the farming of trout and sea bass. The company began with offshore cages located 1 km off the coast of Derbent Burnu in Yomra, Trabzon, with an initial capacity of 700 tons per year. In 2009, it expanded by acquiring facilities in Gümüşhane's Kürtün and Torul dams, increasing capacity by 1,200 tons annually. Further investments in 2013 and 2021 led to the enhancement of cage sizes and production capabilities, reaching a total Turkish salmon production capacity of 7,250 tons per year by 2024. The company emphasizes sustainable fishing practices and aims to promote fish consumption both domestically and internationally.
