The Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism (PROMPERÚ) is the official government agency of Peru responsible for promoting the country’s exports, tourism, and investment opportunities at an international level. Headquartered in San Isidro, Lima, PROMPERÚ plays a strategic role in strengthening the global competitiveness of Peruvian goods and services, while also positioning the nation as a world-class travel destination and reliable investment hub.
PROMPERÚ operates under the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) and is mandated to promote and enhance Peru’s commercial presence worldwide. It connects Peruvian businesses with global markets, drives inbound tourism, and facilitates foreign direct investment (FDI) through coordinated public-private initiatives and international campaigns.
PROMPERÚ leads Peru’s international nation branding strategy through the Marca Perú, a multi-sector promotional identity used across tourism, trade, and culture.
